Sand Sculpture

I started sand carving in 2020, when I relocated to Weymouth and found out about Sandworld. Since then I have been on an incredible journey which has taken me to Sondervig, Denmark twice to one of the bigger Sand Carving festivals.  I had many experiences as a freelance sculptor but sculpting in sand

Every type of sand is different, with its own qualities. There are no supports inside, and collapses are not uncommon! 
It is absolutely fantastic for working on a large scale, and at speed.

The theme for 2025 in Denmark was Iceland. My Solo (stand alone) piece was a fox fur obsessed Merman from Icelandic Folklore.
