Current Work

I have always felt a strong connection to nature. 

The life forces and spiritual energy that flows through us and every living thing.

In my work I try to express this. Sometimes with the abandonment of movement, other times with a more reflective inner turn.

Folklore and fantasy, mythical creatures and real ones. The blurring of lines between this world and another.

Water is perhaps the most fundamental of elements. My modern mermaids express the freedom, peace and serenity of the oceans which is a very different energy to the tension and bold movements of street dancers.

My latest winged figures are elven angels. Quirky characters that combine birds, impish folklore as well as the spiritual. Different worlds existing together.

I sculpt in clay, then mould them in a variety of materials. I also cast and finish them myself. It is important to me to be responsible for every step of the process. 

​

Mostly I make limited editions where the number of sculptures cast of each one is strictly limited to a low number. Usually 12 or 25. Once this number is reached, the mould is destroyed. I supply certificates of authenticity to guarantee this. 

​

I am also a portrait sculptor.
